Excavator Seal Kit Describe
BRT are mechanical seals between two objects, usually to prevent pressure, corrosion and the natural thermal expansion and contraction of the piping between the two objects. As machined surfaces cannot be perfect, gaskets are used to fill irregularities.
BRT are usually made from sheet materials such as rubber, silicone rubber, metal, cork, felt, neoprene, nitrile rubber, glass fibre or plastic polymers such as PTFE. Application-specific gaskets may contain asbestos.
Features
1,The sealing surface of BRT and flange should be cleaned and should not have any defects such as scratches and spots that affect the sealing performance of the connection.
2,The outer diameter of BRT should be smaller than the outer sealing surface of the flange, and the inner diameter of the sealing gasket should be slightly larger than the inner diameter of the pipe, and the difference between the two inner diameters is generally taken as two times of the thickness of the sealing gasket to ensure that the inner edge of the sealing gasket does not extend into the container or pipe after pressing, so as not to hinder the flow of fluid in the container or pipe.
3, BRT pre-tightening force should not exceed the design provisions, so as to avoid excessive compression of the BRT loss of resilience.
