HBY is a high-performance buffer seal, it can be an ordinary PTFE buffer seals groove size interchange. The seals are made of polyurethane for valve use to avoid excessive pressure between the buffer ring and the rod seals. The installation of polyformaldehyde baffle ring can provide maximum extrusion resistance under vibration pressure load.

HBY Piston Seal, also known as the buffer seal ring, consists of a soft beige polyurethane seal and a hard black PA anti-extrusion ring added to the heel of the seal. In addition, HBY Piston Seal is used in conjunction with piston rod seals to absorb shock and fluctuating pressures under high loads, to isolate high-temperature liquids, and to improve seal durability.

Do not open the seal package if unnecessary, otherwise the dust will stick to the seal or scratch it.
Store in cool place, not on sunlight place. UV and moisture will accelerate the deterioration of rubber and plastics and dimensional changes
Carefully pack, store unpackaged product, do not glue or put into impurities, keep the original state. Keep the Nylon seal package close to prevent moisture cause dimensional changes
Do not put seals near heat sources, such as boilers, stoves. Otherwise heat will accelerate the aging of seals
Do not put seals near the motor and other place where produces ozone
Do not use a needle, wire, rope hang seals, otherwise, would cause the seal deformation, damage the lip
Sometimes, there are color change or white powder on the seal surface (frost phenomenon), this will not affect the performance of the seal

Application
 

Cushion the impact pressure generated by the piston rod side of the hydraulic cylinder and relieve the back pressure
Prevent the oil temperature from directly overheating to the seal, resulting in the deterioration of the seal, play a cushioning, slightly cooling effect.
Reduce the frictional resistance of the piston rod seal and the problem of sliding and heating of the seal during the cylinder movement.
