Skeleton Oil Seal describe
Oil Seals are used in the machines for oil proof. From the structure of the product, it can be classified into two types: single lip Skeleton oil seals and double lips Skeleton oil seals. They are widely used in the rod of machines' engines, usually are used to prevent the oil leaking and the dirt outside.
The representative form of oil seal is TC oil seal, which is a kind of double lip oil seal with self-tightening spring which is completely covered by rubber. Generally speaking, oil seal is often referred to as this TC skeleton oil seal.
Features
Attention should be paid to the installation and use of sealing ring:
Can not install the wrong direction and damage the lips. If there are scars above 50μm on the lips, it may cause obvious oil leakage.
Prevent forced installation. Do not use a hammer to knock in, but use a special tool to first press the sealing ring into the seat hole, and then use a simple cylinder to protect the lip through the spline. Before installation, apply some lubricating oil to the lips to facilitate installation and prevent burns during initial operation. Pay attention to cleaning.
Prevent overdue use. The service life of rubber seals for dynamic seals is generally 3000～5000h, and new seals should be replaced in time.
